Some people will not like it, but a change is required. G-Man only further cemented this.
Here's the idea. Players can request for things to be built by me (the head builder) with a payment of diamonds. Here's how it will work.
Near spawn, we have a small structure with a sign outside that marks "Build Requests." Inside, you can find a chest filled with books. Players can write down a detailed description of what they want built, sign the book, then drop it in the hopper along with an adequate amount of diamonds. The criteria is as follows:
Small Build - 25 Diamonds
Medium Build - 50 Diamonds
Large Build - 75 Diamonds
Ultimate Build - 100 Diamonds
Under the structure is a room where I can check for requests daily, make sure the right amount of diamonds has been paid, and if everything checks out, begin the build.
Things NOT allowed to be built:
1. End Portals
2. Builds made entirely of storage blocks
3. Builds that would impede on the progress of other players and/or nations
6. Large amounts of redstone in a small/medium build
7. Anything in the miscallaneous and materials section in Creative Mode
Some things to note: Nether and End items are a minimum of large builds and builds IN those dimensions are minimum of medium build.
This is just the first draft of the request and like I said is subject to change. Please leave any feedback you have. If there's anything you think should be restricted or even if there is an issue with payment, speak your mind.
- They can be mined, meaning a larger economy.
- They are rare, preventing inflation.
- In the event that the server plug-ins break, currency will still remain safe and insure security.
I also nominate that we should use the symbol '◊', similar to diamonds. Gold will have 1/10 the value of an emerald, and could use the modern euro symbol '€'.
Part 3 Request: Allow All Countries to Be ClaimedLíthìumŒLet's be honest: there's no reason to restrict claims to only Europe until we completely fill it. One user is already desiring to found a country in India, and who are we to stop them and require them to claim some obscure German territory?

1. Get a server running.
There's no need for an alpha or a beta or any fancy gamemode/plugin ideas. All we need is a simple server with factions. Bugs are easy to check for in Minecraft, it should only take about a minute. If we keep the server lightweight there won't be any bugs to fix.
2. Stop changing land claims and the time setting.
1745 is a perfectly good year to start it. It's a part of time that we're all familiar with from our time on PotCO. We also need to settle on who owns what for good. These changes just set us further back.
3. Less administrative power in RP.
If somebody wants to do something with their nation that isn't absolutely ridiculous like giant death robots then they should be able to do it. The administration shouldn't be threatening to ban people for declaring war and other things. They shouldn't be able to remove people from power and mess with land. The administration should be enforcing the rules, not giving out threats whenever they don't agree with an RP move.
I find the profanity rule on this wiki way too strict for a site with mostly 15-20 year old users, especially since wikia is 13+. I think we should make it like the PPW, where it's basically everything except the F word and you can't use them to insult anothe person.
The Administration will be having a meeting on October 25th, 2014. The meeting will begin at 12:00 PM EDT. This meeting will discuss the future course of the server and MC-Nations. It will also address several problems and review the results of the MC-Nations Survey. The meeting will take place in the Chat. The following are asked to join:
The chat room will still be open for other users to communicate, however the meeting will be privately discussed. Users can suggest opinions, ideas, or other proposals during the meeting individually with an Administrator. However they should take caution in not distracting the Administrator from the meeting. Failure to oblige will end in a chat ban for the remaining duration of the meeting.

However no evidence has been presented allowing for a block of this users. An investigation will be carried out to find the true identity of these users. For the mean time the sockpuppets will be blocked. Unless there is viable evidence shown that they are indeed not sockpuppets.

This user has constantly used profanity and attacked users while on chat worthy enough for a wiki ban. He also has used a sock account with an inapproriate name.
This user will be banned for 3 months.
This is for the Security Council to make executive decisions for the General Assembly. This is also to bring up any conflicts, tensions, or wars to interest.
This is for international meetings, and other diplomatic talks between members of the General Assembly. It is also used for official messages sent by the General Assembly overall.
the background and well theme in general is just 100% yuck and all the no. it shouldnt be dark as it doesnt attract users (this is something various sites have advised me) as well as it should be more light and have a prettier background that isnt osme solid colour.

Since it is October, that means Halloween is coming!
To celebrate we are decorating the wiki with Halloween colors to celebrate the holiday. I am hosting a contest for users to submit backgrounds to be added to the wiki. The Contest will end October 17th. There will also be rewards for players who win and participate.

This is part of my recent reform blog, but, these have yet to be put to a vote. As usual, this is a staff vote, except, The Inactive National Leader policy ( Which has yet to be added as of 8 October ) will be a community vote.
Inactive Wiki Staff Policy
- This policy is being invoked in order to keep the wiki and server secure from any hackers.
- This policy will affect : Rollbacks, Chat Moderators, and Regular Administrators. Bureaucrats are exemt from this. ( That means, the President Emertius, President, and Vice President are not affected by this. )
- After a period of 30 days of inactivity, the staff member is given a warning to return to active service or risk being demoted.
- After a period of 2 months or 30 days, whichever is greater, they will be given a second warning to return to active service, or risk being demoted.
- After 2 and 1/2 months, or 45 days, whichever is greater, they shall be given a final warning to return to active service. After 15 more days, said staff member is demoted to regular user status, and operator/moderator status on the server is revoked.

Hey Guys, I have some good news for once. I do have a server host, and the starting city for MC Nations, all that needs to be done at this point, is to add the plugins, test it out myself, have the Vice President test it, Alpha, Beta, and then full release. My best guess for the estimated Alpha release date is 30 November, at 00:00 GMT ( 7:00 PM Eastern, 6:00 Central, 5:00 Mountain, and 4:00 PM Pacific ), and if everything goes well, it should be released 27 December.

Alright, there has also been some discussion on how PvP should be carried out. They way I see it, is that there is two ways to commit combat.
Battlefields are constructed battlefields (hence the name) that are created by users, then sent to the administration for approval. The admins can then change it into a schematic, then spawn it into the world. An alternate way to do this is host another server with battlefields in the world.
Warzones are constructed battlefields in the server directly. They are created by the administration in a large area dedicated to containing these. They could also be created by users who have ideas or suggestions.
Frontline is where the enemy raids enemy constructed cities, towns, village, etc. This has both advantages and disadvantages. As this will be more realistic towards warfare, and actually damages the other nation into submission easier. It also allows more strategic manuevers to be used. For example, if an enemy is settled in a valley, the offensive could use the surrounding hills or mountains as an advantage.
I've already posted a large amount of game modes that could apply to either of the two. If you have any suggestions on how PvP should be carried out please send your ideas.
Other wise, please use the decision templates (Support, Neutral, Oppose) on all three so a general idea can be made.
Once a theater(s) are chosen, I will make another proposal regarding the process of warfare.

- Has completely messed up MediaWiki:Common.js, making it nessecary for a volunteer coder to come in and help out. ( We have nothing against volunteer coders, but, we like everything to be done by regular wiki users. )

I have enlisted par to convert the logo in to a PNG file, so we can use that as a wordmark... But, if we have the backgroud and the wordmark as the same thing, seems kinda dull, doesn't it? I was thinking we could change the background to a map of Europe in 1760.
Unlike my other proposal from earlier today, this is a ADMIN ONLY vote.
I will be posting a page called " Rules of War ", the name speaks for the page. However, I request permission from the administration.
Why? On a similar server hosted by BeastNode, we tried to import a map of the world, and it crashed the server. It was way too large for the server, even though it did have quite a lot of space. Even if it was able to be imported, the main problem I have with the plan is that there is no way to accurately claim land. All of the land claiming plugins that I know of claim in squares. If we used factions for it as we do now, a lot of nations would have to be powerboosted just to have all of their land claimed. There would of course be a lot of land disputes as many claims would overlap onto somebody else's unclaimed land. Also, the resources would be limited. What would we do when the world was depleted? There's just too many things working against having a real world map.
Yet another proposal from yours truly. Today's proposal is replacing the User Message Wall with a talk page.
- Actually puts forth a use for user signatures.
- Makes it easier to put a greeting message for other users.
- Makes it easier to archive messages.
- Not having to scroll through each and every conversation to get to a specific message
